Negative Prompts Explained
Negative prompts tell an AI image or video model which unwanted elements and qualities to avoid.
A negative prompt lists what should not appear in the result, such as blurry details, extra fingers, text, watermarks, or shaky motion. It guides generation but does not guarantee perfect removal.
Keep it specific and relevant: use “blurry face, distorted hands, unreadable text” instead of a long list of generic quality terms. For video, add problems such as “flicker, camera shake, inconsistent character appearance.”
Start with your positive prompt, generate once, then add negative terms for visible defects. In CinderHub, test a few focused variations because different models interpret the same negative prompt differently.
